Gloria Bernal - lawyer, author and lecturer - presents her new book "Las Lenguas Cortadas o el realismo cotidiano".

The perversity of war, of power in wartime, of sexual violence against women and homosexuals in the time of the Colombian conflict, where machismo is exacerbated with brute force and impunity. With poetic cruelty, in short narratives,Gloria Bernal Acevedo succeeds in perturbing us and making us feel the silent reality, the reality of severed tongues.
