International Research Training Group “Zwischen Räumen – Entre Espacios”

The International Research Training Group ‘Between Spaces. Movements, Actors and Representations of Globalisation’, sponsored by the German Research Foundation (DFG), opens new perspectives for globalization research in the social sciences and the humanities. By developing a dialogue between disciplines and diverse scholarly traditions in Germany and Mexico, the research program and the study program seek to contribute to a transnational and interdisciplinary field of study. Main focuses of the IRTG are movements between various regions of the world and the new spaces to which this has given and is giving rise in past and present stages of globalization.
