Why are far-right actors more successful than left-wing movements mobilizing online? Has political correctness turned into a shot in the foot for the left? How can we best analyze transnational political trends without losing sight of local particularities? Drawing on the book “¿La rebeldía se volvió de derecha?” (Stefanoni, 2021), we will discuss with the author central dimensions to understand the global right-wing upsurge. Researchers studying contemporary right-wing politics will have the opportunity to briefly introduce their projects in order to expand our research network.
