Oxford’s and Berlin’s students have teamed up for an interdisciplinary student conference to strengthen the network and the ties between the Latin American Centre (LAC) and the Latin American Institute (LAI). We are eager to start discussions and get inputs about new research methods and new epistemologies in Latin American studies. Additionally, this conference aims at encouraging conversations between masters and doctoral students, identify convergent lines of inquiry, and, finally, promoting an intellectual dialogue beyond disciplinary boundaries by discussing each other’s research projects.
