Cuauhtémoc Pérez Medrano defended his PhD thesis on Feburary 3^rd, 2017. During his exposition titled "The Island as a topological Model: Spaces of Representation inside und outside Cuba in the Early 21st Century ” he presented the results of his work and inserted them into the IRTG´s research agenda as well.
