Bachelor in Social Work from Hochschule Mannheim and Master’s in Gender Studies from Universidad Complutense Madrid. Currently Master’s student in Latin American Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin.

Laura worked for an NGO in legal, psychosocial and prospective counselling for migrants and refugees. She has experience as a coordinator of voluntary returns, as a counsellor in asylum and residency-related matters and in collaboration with international support programs.

Her research interests are the intersections between gender, migration, borders and transnational inequalities.
