In order to foster doctoral candidates’ scientific exchange and intercultural skills, the LAI is cooperating with selected international universities and is supporting doctoral candidates who are going abroad for a brief or a longer period of time. For doctoral candidates from the Institute for Latin American Studies there are various possibilities for a stay abroad at both Latin American and European universities. Apart from LAI’s international cooperation agreements with numerous universities in Latin America, you can also apply for the tendered vacancies at European universities through the ERASMUS+ program.
